Eliot passed away this year.

The owner's announcement of Eliot's death is here.
Here's a loose translation of their statement:
"We lost great friend and are unspeakably sad.
Eliot died on 28.06.2012 from a bloat.
We are grateful and proud that we were even allowed to have such a great, extraordinary dog.
We will have Eliot always remember him and keep his memory.
Klaus, and Agi Max Bommersheim in June 2012"
He had just turned 7 years old in March 2012.
