Hello, new member here. I was just wondering if someone could possibly tell me (or guess) what other breed my German Shepherd is mixed with. She is about 12 and 1/2 months old.

Here are some pictures of her.

Thanks in advance!

Really? I took her to the vet last week and I was told that she was a mixed German Shepherd. Hmm...

You cant always believe that a vet knows breeds or diets lol
I took a red rott pup to the vet and was told it was a pit mix lol Seeing as how my son and his mentor went to the breeder, saw both parents and the other rotts on the premises when they picked up the 2 red rotts, there was not much room for doubt.
A vet will tell you Beneful is a healthy food too...sure it is.. for a squirrel, since they love corn.lol

Yeah i agree, common old, no pedigree back yard shepherd. Not bred for anything but sorta being a shepherd. If you do not breed for working/or looks the dogs seem to degenerate into a more common "Street dog " phenotype.
But the best youc an hope for is that she is happy and heathy.
And remember vets go to school to learn animal medicine, not dog breeds. That only gets a quick 1 page overview. The rest the sort of have to learn on the fly.

most likely a purebred German Shepherd.  Most vets are not knowledgeable about dog breeds.  I used to apprentice at a vet's office, remember once when a bouvier came to the clinic and the vet thought it was a giant schnauzer, she had never heard of a bouvier.
