Looking for information on VA2 (WDA) Xenon Frankengold.

What has he produced in terms of working ability?  Temperaments?  Nerves?  Any experiences?

I have a Xenox daughter and train where Xenox lives. I have seen him work, worked him, and have hung out with him in a relaxed setting. He's a *really* cool dog. Lots of personality, drive, and vigor. Loads of fun to work and be around. Goes from the kennel to field to playing around children to crate with zero transition issues. Nice substantial male with a gorgeous head. Beautiful expression and moves like a dream. Loves his bitework and simply loves to be out on the field with his handler. Very food and toy motivated. Likes to please and passes this on to his pups. Obedience is nice and he's always in a pleasant mood. He has not thrown a coat yet so that is a plus - I don't think he carries coat. He produces pups with great drive, temperament, and structure. They are firecrackers with very nice prey drive. The negative is that he has a tight coat and tends to pass that to his pups. My bitch's dam has a very nice full coat so that compensated for Xenox and my female has a beautiful coat (however it is shorter than the dam's because of Xenox), but I have noticed many Xenox pups lacking in coat. I would also be careful to make sure the female has good strong ears - another small issue I noticed with one or two pups. I think more people should be breeding to him. I bet if he had a better coat, he would not have been sold to the US. He produces really nice dogs with beautiful structure and temperament. Drache Feld will repeat this cross with pups in the spring: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/breeding.result?father=585740&mother=706968. The last litter produced excellent pups with loads of drive and personality. I will be excited to see the outcome. I believe von Lotta also bred to him recently and probably have pups now out of him. I got a BH and AD on my Xenox daughter last month. She shows really well and has gotten excellent critiques recently. Pulls like a demon in the ring and can go all day like a freight train. I love it! She has her SG and the judges have liked her a lot. She is a hair too large for my taste, but it's because both Xenox and the dam were large. We will get our 1 by next summer, get our V, and hopefully show in the sieger show. I absolutely love my female. She settles beautifully in the house, can go all day, remains stable in any environment, and is my "go everywhere" dog. I like Xenox a lot and think he has a lot to offer.

Lemme know if you have more questions. I'm curious to know about the female you hope to take to him :)
