I had this chocolate bar in my desk for like 2 months…it has 74% cacao..my favorite..so I been saving it for few months and today I decided to break a piece …
So, I am eating it and it starts burning in my mouth…my throat…I am not sure whats going on..than I start chocking….. Little panic, but not enough to start calling people for help….I drink water..it gets worse…..than it slowly subsides…. I am wiping my tounge with a towel which is making me gag as I pull my desk open and read the cover of a chocolate bar….
See anything wrong???

They use those in baking, I think to make chocolate tacos or burritos.

"they" are bastards! LOL...
Can you imagine newspaper headline....death by chocolate...
I bought like 6 bars of the same type w/ different color labels, some had cherries, some had nuts, orange peels, all were great....this was the last bar I had....

LOL, you must have thought someone was poisoning you! I really don't have a clue what "nibs" are, either. BUT, my ex-mother-in-law used to make a chocolate Christmas cookie, and the secret ingredient was pepper! In a discreet amount it made a great cookie, with a little bite to it.
Perhaps they should have put a warning or indicated the hotness factor on the candy bar. I can take a little heat, but in no way can I claim to like it "hot"!

WOw. Just imagine if your DOG had gotten its paws on that bar!
Well, maybe the heat of the chilies would have kept him from poisoning himself with the 74% cacao dark chocolate! (The higher the percentage of cacao, the greater the risk to the dog.)

Nibs are the pieces of unprocessed Cacao....they taste like bittersweet chocolate...they are really good in chocolate chip cookies...they balance the sweetness of the cookie dough. They wouldn't have made you choke, but the chilis! I've had that exact same candy bar, it's good IF you're expecting it....LOL! Mexican & South American tastes like that combo, so I've been told, as I said not bad if that's what you're looking for! jackie harris
