If anyone knows of organizations that may help the Sandy Hurricane victims find foster homes for their pets temporarily until they are on their feet can you please post the information....Thanks

Well, I am not an organization, not really even all that organized, but I would be more than happy to help out, preffering to get to the animals, BEFORE, they hit the shelter (as I have several dogs of my own, I do worry about shelter illnesses coming along for the ride).
I am in upstate New York. Just PM me, I have been busy this past couple of weeks trying to get my kennel done.
I should be set-up to comfortably house a few dogs in need very soon.

I live in CT and am open to fostering an animal while people rebuild.
