I was just looking through some of my past dogs and noticed that a progeny was missing. When I finally found her, she has a completely
different pedigree... very very wrong
http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/dog.html?id=517397
This picture and name is MINE
I left a comment, so if you would like to leave it, I guess that would be fine. Just want to bring this to the attention of the board.

I went and changed the pedigree info to what it should be... though it is still locked (I should be the owner of the pedigree)
That just really rubs me the wrong way... grrr....

It does seem that the pedigree pages should be "locked",once it is put in.
! Dog might change owners numerous times, BUT, the pedigree of that dog NEVER changes.
A new owner might want to change the picture, but I also think if someone bred the dog and registered it... Pictures should only be allowed to be changed or updated "with permission" by site owner.
I still never put all my dogs back in since that problem a few years back where numerous pedigrees were tampered with.

It was changed by someone named blitzblue.

I did see that. The pedigree was changed from female to male, NHSB registration numbers, and dob was 2000.
My pedigree is not nearly as impressive as the one they gave her, but still, she's one of mine and I really don't
appreciated dishonest people.

Umm...given that your dog is simply named, "Storm", it's really, really likely that there's ANOTHER dog that's also simply named "Storm" [which, from what I've seen, isn't uncommon with Netherlands dogs, especially KNPV dogs...]. Isn't it possible that this wasn't a malicious tampering, but rather something to do with the system only permitting one dog per 'unique' name? I mean, after all, not only was the pedigree changed, but the dog's gender is different AND it has a NHSB registration. Hardly seems like something somebody would do as a prank.

Hexe, while that may be so, my Storm has been registered with PDB for 2 years AND it was HER picture listed for this other Storm.
So, regardless of whether or not the pedigree was maliciously tampered with or not, her picture WAS stolen, and the pedigree I posted
of MY storm was no longer there. Being I tried to just register another storm and the system kicked it out, as the PDB can aparently
only register one dog per name, another Storm would not have been able to be registered here..... SO..... what kind of assumption
should I then make?
