A few weeks ago I posted about my coworker, who is pregnant, & her Rottie. Well, she is now considered a high risk pregnancy, & her husband does not want to deal with the dog. If anyone is interested in a purebred, very large & handsome Rottie, who presently is very good natured, with little obedience training, PM me, & I'll pass your info along to her or hers to you, whichever. Poor Rocky, I guess I saw this coming. Of course, the DH is keeping his snarly little Chi. jackie harris

No kidding, I've been trying to tell her, but she's in love....yech! I wish I could tell the whole story here. She'd be much better off with the dog. jh

I can't wrap my head around a guy whose wife is high risk pregnant (which a key part of is avoiding stress) getting rid of her dog because he doesn't want to deal with him for a couple MONTHS while she's out of commission?! Gee, I can't wait to hear the sequel and see how chivalrous he is as love and marriage and children take their toll in ten years....

That's why I asked if the chi was neutered. He sounds like the sort of ***hole that would say "No one's touching MY dog's balls!"

Yeah, he's turning into a major control freak, screaming at her when she's late getting out of work. She's a nurse, too, she can't leave until the charting's done, like me. But he freaks out. ... I see abuse & sorrow heading her way, but you know she's not hearing me. She's gonna wish she had that dog to protect her from this jerk at some point, which is why, Carl & I both assume, he's trying to get rid of it. jackie harris
