Hello,
I am going to be a proud mama to a brand new baby boy the first week of January 2012 and I have been searching for meet up groups or clubs that I can get him involved with (of course, after his shots) located in Sacramento. If you know of any groups or clubs (GSD Club of Sacramento Valley) that is more laid back for new parents that I can look into possibly before I pick him up. Thank you in advance.

Felix Sunga is a trainer in Ryde CA, about 40 minutes south of Sac. I have travelled to his place for training and I know several K-9 handlers who go to him regularly. He is especially focused on Ring sports but does private pet and specialized training as well. I believe he can be found with an internet search for Grand Island Dog Training in Ryde CA.

What a nice club as per the web info. Some clubs do Not want visitors and let you know in loud and unpleasant voices. There are the same kind of words on web pages also. Someone I once knew wanted to buy a good bred GSD and I went to one of those with the NO visitors wanted and the kennel name was Not given to that person. Not the kind of breeder I'd want to buy from myself.
Hope that they are the same in person and not just words. With the cost of gasoline going over $6 a gal who needs unpleasant clubs in addition to the above attitudes.

I can help. I Live in Live Oak, 95953, about an hour north of Sac on Hwy 99. Lots of tracking up here.

Thank you for the completment on the website. It took me several months to build that site from scratch. As you mentioned about the club welcoming visitors. We do with open arms! We have great members, awesome Training Directors and a very skilled young helper. I have been the president of PCWDC for going on 2 years now. I love this club and wouldnt trade it for anything.
