Hiya
I have 3 Border Collies and had the male castrated 2 weeks ago the wound is hardly visible anymore and i was told to give him restricted exercise for 10 days which i did...he has been really good and not licked or chewed the area in fact its as if nothing ever happened to him but i noticed today when we got back from a walk and i was grooming him that he has what looks like a pinkinsh blister (thats all i can describe it as) has appeared on part of the scar...this wasnt there before the walk as i check the wound every morning. Any suggestions as to whats going on???? Its 2 weeks tommorrow since op!!.
Thanks
Shelley

Call your vet that castrated him, they should do a follow up, did he have stitches that needed removing at 10 days???

Could be a reaction to a dissolvable suture. Have had it happen after a spay and I do know someone who had it happen after a surgery of another kind.
