I really need some help guys i cant go to the vets as the weekend is starting.  I took my German shepherd female for a walk and she was fine untill she had a pee on the grass and being female she had to squat fully down and once she had finished her pee when whe got back up her rear left leg was limping for a few sec and when i brought her back home her left leg was slightly shaking for 5 mins then stomped.  after that no other symtoms

she is 1.9 years old any advice?

How long was the walk? What type of surface did you walk her on? Concrete/sidewalks/grass?? It could be as simple as she pulled something during the walk.  If she is walking fine now and you don't see any other issues I wouldn't panick.  Keep a close eye on her for the weekend and any problems run her into the vets.  She's still a younger dog so maybe she overdid the walk?
Good luck,
Amy

Dogs limp for all manner of reasons, if the limp isn't prolonged and doesn't happen again then its just a one off - all you can do is keep an eye on her and if she does it again, take her to the vets for a check up.

Take a breath.. Nothing sounding urgent here at all with what Im reading. Cramp, sticker, sprain
who knows but from what im reading keep her from jumping, no walks tell it stops and you take two asprin, she will probalbly be fine in the morn. :)~

Spend the 75 dollar office visit on a couple of steaks for the both of you.

i just took her for a walk and she has a pee 3 times without any problems.  normally i take  the dogs out for a walk on empty stomach of food and water and give them food and water after walk.  it could have just been cramp.  will keep an eye on her.
cheers for the advice guys and girl!!

Make an appointment for hip xrays at a time when its convenient for you....no hughe rush, but its something that might need to be checked. You can wait until she is 24 months to do it.

Try to keep her off it as much as possible, just walks outside to do her business, for the weekend. Hopefully it will go away on its own, just something cramped or pulled. If not, and it doesn't improve, off to the vet on Monday.
