How does one eliminate a prefix to a dog? I am entering info from 35-40 years ago via an AKC research pedigree. A bitch was incorrectly recorded on this database as an American Champion; research pedigree clearly indicates she was not. This is a Miniature Schnauzer pedigree and there is no button to find history of changes as in the GSD database....tried deleting the pedigree to re-enter the correct information, but that's a no go as it gives me a message the pedigree is locked. Actually, only the bitch's name was entered...I am in the process of filling in the dogs behind her. How do I get rid of the incorrect American Champion prefix???

Is it this pedigree? http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/miniature_schnauzer/dog.html?id=419945

Yes, "Orlane's Middle Maid" is the pedigree. The red "0" preceding her name is because I was monkeying around trying to eliminate the Am. Ch. prefix.

I am looking into this and if all fails, I can delete it. I have asked the site owner to take a look as it appears to be a programming error. I will post here when we figure it out or I delete it.
Thanks and sorry for the problems.
