Does he look like GSD to you guys?
This guy is in SC, Greenville Humain society......I dont see anything Spitz about him, i am thinking he was labeled like this due to being all black...
i know its a small picture....it does not get any bigger online either....

its a bit of a drive for me to go and take a look....but if he is still there by this weekend i may just do that.....

I think with the ears/face he's part gremlin, maybe?

LOL...gargoyle...maybe?

for 7 month old (and they can be way off on that too)...his feet look small... but if this was taken in a truck (dog pick up truck) than he is really tall.....

haha maybe. I totally didn't look at the age though lol. I was thinking he was a puppy.

Based on the size of the newspaper I think he seems well, quite compact. The ear set looks wrong for a full GSD to me.  I had a  gorgeous mixed breed that had this ear set, shape and size and she had corgi in her. I think he is definitely a X. Lovely chap though!

I am no pro (lol) but this looks like a small black shepherd. Never really came across many mixes who have erect ears. I think possibly the reason the ears look the way they do is submission to the person standing there with the camera pointed at him. But hey what do I know. Would love to see other pics. I know that black shepherds are confused to be many other breeds in certain parts of the country.

Wish there were more photos of the dog for better evaluation.  It does look rather small at 7 months old to be a pure GSD, but I suppose it's possible.  When I first saw the ears I thought they looked like corgi ears (only all black) but the legs don't look like corgi legs from this angle.
He looks adorable, thats for sure!

What does the dog think?

My GSD sits with her ears at that angle when she travels right at the back in my car near the tailgate, even though her ears are a good 6"-8" away from the glass.  Maybe this pup is doing the same and thinking his ears are going to make contact with the top of the crate.

As you can see from my profile picture, my dog has a good ear set.
