You guys know I feed raw but in the kennel I feed kibble. ( some people just don't want raw, I have no issues with that)  OK rambling.....  I used to feed Eagle but was horrified at the size of poops generated on the last bag.  Have they changed the formula?  I have to keep the food cost down to around 50.00 a bag for the kennel clients so if anyone has any ideas let me know.  I used eagle simply due to the "bung" factor.  It is the only food I have found so far that doesnt cause master blaster trots.  What do other trainer/boarders feed their clients?

My kennel feeds my dogs' food.  I bring it along with portion instruction or baggie it up for them.

It might be easier to feed everyone the same thing but this adds additional stress to a boarding dog.

Hi Vermont Lady, most of my clients bring thier own food.  But you do get people who forget or don't worry to much about what their dogs eat.  Alot of people here in Northern BC feed plain ole Alpo. Nothing like giant technocolored poo.  Anyhow I always have to have some kind of kibble on hand for those who do not pack food for the pooches.  Eagle worked well as it has beet pulp in it.  Keeps the dogs from going home with a bad case of mantezumas revenge.  I tried Origen as it was highly recommended but at 80.00 a bag (not including HST) and a guaranteed case of the runs for most dogs it just isnt worth doing.  Even Nutro is 60.00 per bag now, what ever happened to the 39.99 dog foods.
