First of all, I would like to say that we all need to think about things that we should be thankful for.  This forum is the perfect place to visit, whether we are novices or the more experienced.  Many novice people come here to get help, opinions and just share their stories or pictures of our breed.  We should treat them with respect just as we would want to be treated.

This forum is loaded with a wealth of knowledge.  Seems like if all the effort put into creating  drama, bickering, and arguing, would be put into communicating like adults, there would be no need for moderators.  The mods here have been very tolerate to all the unnecessary behavior.  I am sure the jobs they do isn't easy.  But I wonder how many people would be as fair as to what is tolerated here.  I don't think that knowing who they really are would make a difference in the way they are treated.  Just as if real names were used here, I doubt that SERIOUSLY would stop some people's rude and obnoxious behavior.  Its just not in some people's nature to be nice or understanding.

I am not trying to "fuel the fire" on an already bad situation.  Hopefully this may get people thinking about what we really are here for. Hopefully we will all realize it is for the breed, and not to argue, judge, belittle, or bash anyone because of their opinions or because we don't all do things the exact same way. There is a way to help and guide others in the right direction, but pulling against each other and arguing just to argue is not the way to better the breed.

As for the moderators, Kudos to you all.

Sometimes second changes is all it takes to allow the true personalities to come through.

I myself do not care about the identity of the moderators, doesn't mean anything to me. Moderators should keep same distance from all members and treat them equally and fairly when applying the TOS and should present a good model to us when communicating with and addressing members.

Members should abide by the TOS and respect other's opinions and give value to their choices. Discussions should not be personal, if you attack other's choices do not cry to the mods when your own choice is attacked, if you bring attention to your breeding program/dogs/puppies do not turn around the facts because when members find out otherwise they have the right to say their own opinion about your false claims. Do not preach what you don't practice, people don't respect that.

This forum should remain a place to help newbies and to maintain that knowledgeable members should be given credit for it and should be treated with due respect to their age, experience and achievements whether we agree or disagree with their breed type/line/training school/or whatever choices they made in their lives.

This place should not be a place for frauds. This place should not encourage opportunists to bait ignorant members. Personally I think this forum is a good place to learn from, share one's knowledge and experience, but as every where else one should not be over-trusting.
