So, I got a new puppy recently.  All had been well before that with my adults as far as using the bathroom goes....My dogs have a large area downstairs that they're in if they're not outside... Well, my Husky, Little Dude is now reverting back to being a "puppy".   I say that because he was in the puppy pen I have inside, with my pup, (I've been taking the pup out about 9pm to potty.....and then around 1am I wake up and let him out again....back to bed, and then let him out when I get up  in the morning again) and there was a.....doggy mess, that was far too big to be a puppy's lol.  Big enough the pup would have exploded if that poop came out of him, that's why I know it was Little Dude and not him.  Have any of you guys had a young dog revert back to "a puppy" in a sense when getting a new pup? Little Dude did take longer than my adult Huskies to house break/potty train when raising them up so it doesn't fully surprise me, but it's a little frustrating.  He did it once again tonight while I was gone to church.....looks like someone will be in the crate over night and when no one is home.

A side note......I swear, I did not shoot the rooster lol, but I have not heard him in two days now.

This is fairly normal in my experiences with some dogs and don't be surprised if tomorrow you are not scrubbing crate and little dude. JMO for what it is worth.

Hope not! lol. He's such a turd.....literally. He's a wonderful dog though, but hopefully I don't wake up to that.

Some dogs will do it but some don't you will know in the next day or 2. I actually hope you don't either nothing worse than waking up to a big mess. Peace gsdguy and I truly mean it. We can having differing opinions and still remain civil, which is the whole concept of debate.

Do not put Little DUDE in the puppy pen...MY goodness, would you put a teen ager in the Crib with the new baby??

NEW pups make lots of dogs do things they use not too.

I would suppose you take lil'dude for a walk and have a come to JESUS talk.

HE IS wanting your Attention....

YES the new pup is causing it.

Spend some time training lil dude for the next week...

HE is feeling ike a Step child>>lol

dogs REACT JUST LIKE HUMANS.

LadyFrost, he's doing well thankfully.  And the pup is doing great as far as "not going" in the house too.

haha. Well, I saw the rooster again yesterday and today. He seems to be staying farther back now,  I'm wandering if they "fenced him in" so to speak.  It looks like there is fencing around where one of the holes (in the trailer park fence) use to be.   I haven't seen him in the field at all anymore though.  If you go hunting, let me know how the rooster tastes lol.
