Looking for the best footing in the outside yards at your kennels. What do you have, why do you like it, what do you not like about it? Planning on building a small kennel this spring for my working dogs and just looking for ideas.

Thank you,
Leanne

I use heavy duty horse stall mats.  They are durable, easy to clean and better for joints and legs.

So far I have not had them chewed on.

I have had horse stall matts worked very well but do get hot in the sun unless you have alot of shade.  I now have pavers and I love them.  Neat Stay very clean with just a hosing.  My dogs do not usually potty in their kennels.  I know the surface is harder but they have a house with a bed in it and a kurunda bed outside in the run.  they are mostly house dogs only spend time in their kennels when when weather is not too extreme and I am not home.
