The story of this springer spaniel should give hope to those of you who have dogs with spinal problems:

What a beautiful and heartwarming story!  The rehab vet where I take Shelby for acupuncture and laser therapy for her DM has seen so many amazing recoveries from spinal injuries and neurological issues. As long as there is hope we have to give them a fighting chance.  Thank you for sharing!

Sorry, I don't know where this dog lives. It was just a news item I saw online on Yahoo.

I wish you all the best with your dog. I had to euthanize my first GSD when she developed arthritis in her spine (ankylosing spondylitis) so I know how heartbreaking it can be.
