Oh good grief, another shock tactic. How about just explaining in objective terms what is going on and providing the link. Using shock tactics is ridiculous and unnecessary if the facts are horrible on their own. Shock tactics can backfire, especially since so many are using them to get their messages across, and the image may just cause people to turn away and not bother to find out what is going on which is counter to what you are hoping to gain. Just explain in objective terms what is going on without all the emotional embelishments and provide a link or two so that people can find out additional information.

What was removed was a very graphic picture of a mother dog that apeared to be brutally murdered. She had puppies by her side that appeared to be alive. I guess the brutal murder of dogs is taking place in Poland and another eastern European country (Slovakia?). This photo was to let us know what is going on there and to encourage the boycot of these countries.

I may be mistaken but I believe the pic was posted in reference to what is taking place in advance of the UEFA CUP Europe that takes place in June/July.
In order to clean up their cities before the world media arrives they are exterminating the massive amount of stray dogs, and from what I have read in the past it is being done in less than ideal ways, such as shooting, poisining, and burning alive. The Gov't over there has even gone so far as to buy a mobile creamation device where they simply kill and throw the body in to be creamated right there on the side of the road. If I remember correctly they were estimating up to 250,000 dogs would be killed.
I agree that pic was pretty disturbing and should of had a warning with a link.
