I think I know the dog you're talking about and think he's priced a tad high, from what I was told about him. I didn't know he failed SchH3, however. Interesting tidbit;-) I would be interested in knowing WHY he failed; it may or may not be a reflection on the dog himself.

What would I pay for him? It would depend on what I wanted him for. For breeding, I'd want to see what kind of sperm quality he has. I'd want to see pedigree for any purpose.

I wouldn't pay anything until I could see the pedigree and see him work (or get a reading on him from someone I trust).

The pedigree is no secret if it's the dog I'm thinking of. I just threw it out there as a statement that not knowing what we're "bidding" on makes it awfully hard to give prices.

Just had a very very good one that age go for 5500.00 .  I couldnt believe the price! ( meaning I thought it would be more)

The male I'm referring to is asterix Von derived friesenklippe. He was imported from Germany by kriegshund kennels for $7000.00. My sources tell me he failed hi 3 because his tracking isn't that great and handler errors. He's a good looking male that will be 7 years old in July. They are asking $3,500.00 firm.

make sure his motility is tested if you are purchasing for breeding.  don't take anyones "word" for it.

Sorry that was supposed to be Von Der. My sources also told me for this particular dog dog. He's priced to high. They worked him several times and say his protection is very nice but not. High level competition.interested in this male for a companion. Dog I couldtake to work

He appears by the video to be a nice dog.  I like seeing a dog in an obedience routine: I think it says alot for a dogs personality.
For 3,500 I think he is worth it as long as his temperment and behavior is what you are looking for.
He sure is handsome!

Good luck and keep us posted,
Brandi
