I'vfe been told that SchH is banned in Australia. Is this the case? if so, why?

If you are thinking of protection work and although I do not live in Australia, I believe your statement is partially correct. Bitework is not permitted in this country.

Sunshine you are not correct Schh is not accepted by the GSDC of Aus and the ANKC and in the state of Victoria and maybe Queensland it is a grey area. There is Australian United Schh Clubs. It is a bone of contention (excuse the pun) but there are trials etc go to AUSC website. The irony is if you are a security guard you can train your dog no problem - go figure.
