Been meaning to post this for you for a while, and when I saw your response on huskies and recalls it reminded me. A client of mine, college age guy, with his husky. Earned his RN in his first three tries, with top scores/placings all three. The dog is currently training at a CDX level, learning some UD work as well. He started as a snotty, handler aggressive little sucker and somewhere along the line training him to be a good pet became a hobby and I talked him into competing with the dog- and he loves it. I adore huskies and will absolutely have one some day. I'm with you- anyone who says they're untrainable just doesn't understand them. They are actually incredible workers once you get in their head.
