I’m really proud of my 8 month old GSD pup - Maker. As of yesterday he is officially a Canine Good Citizen. For a friendly and docile pup it wouldn’t be much of an achievement. But for a strong, hard headed and dominant GSD I think it’s a good start.

I'm a newbie and we are so lucky to be working with really great trainers. Their suggestion is to definitely do Obedience (Maker works only for praise - no treats or toys) as well as Trucking (because of his nose). We'll have him evaluated to see if he'll be a good candidate for Protection phase in Sch. If yes - we'll go Sch direction. If not - we'll go towards AKC CD and Trucking and see how we do...

A big congrats to a beautiful boy with a very nice pedigree. Would love for you guys to be able to do ScH--need to show that American dogs are capable of the work. If not good luck with tracking and OB titles...............
