Trying to kill a couple of birds with one stone here,
First, I just want to share a couple of pics of a couple of my dogs, and ask what do you think of my little "pippa"  Man,she is a very head-strong dog. Thinks she is the boss, jumps the 4 foot fence like it's not even there, than knows she is in trouble and makes me chase her all over the yard to get her.
I have to lie to her, and tell her 'good girl',to get her back in the house, and than of course I can not punish her AFTER telling her good girl. She is not quite one yet, so I know she is just going through the 'pain in the ass' stage

(my computer froze up on me,had to re-boot it)
     Now,for the stand by me part;
I have pups now, and I find it so disturbing that I have received phone calls from no less than 3 people (this time around),that all bought Shepherd pups, full AKC papers, from the same woman that 20 years ago, I bought a dog that had SEVERE HD.
This is not the first time in the past years I have had pups, that I was told of HD dogs, from this same woman. Everyone tells me, she does not refund, or replace, or return calls about complaints of HD pups.
She has called me several times over the years and wants a pup from me. There is no way in Hell, I will ever sell her a pup, and this also plays a roll in why, I do NOT sell many pups with full AKC.
I have almost been begged for a pup out of my Bullinger boy, with full AKC papers, or to breed him for a pick of the litter pup.I can't (won't) do it.
I feel I owe a duty of care to Tracey, and also Kevin V.,to not associate her name, or her dog with such disreputable breeders.
It really boggles the mind how some one could have absolutely no conscience about producing pup after pup with HD.
I am wondering if there is any way to shut this person down? I feel a great deal of contempt for her, and have all I can do to not go over board on my thoughts of her when on the phone.
Now, on the other side, here are a couple of my pups, that I back up 100%, they stand by me,as I stand by them!(and no, I'm not trying to sell no pups here)

Hi Joni! Your pups are gorgeous! I haven't been able to get any further contacting that family in SC, that had the service dog killed....no body wants to stick their neck out, so I can't get a contact number, but I'll keep trying if you want me to....? Such a shame to think she'd miss out on such a lovely pup........wish I had room for another ***sigh***! jackie harris

Thanks Jackie for trying. I guess it was just not meant to be. I'm down to only a couple pups left anyway. I sent one off to a young kid that make a wish arranged for, sad but nice that a kid so young with terminal illness wanted only a German Shepherd pup!
I sure wish someone had a suggestion how to stop this woman that had no intentions to stop breeding HD dogs, year after year.
I guess some people just really suck!

Didn't you have an accidental WL/SL litter by your Bullinger dog?

Yes autobahn, I did. And this is the pup I kept out of that litter. He is a fantastic dog for an opps. His mother is my DDR bitch. Him and his mother are training for titles. His one brother is in training for a spot on the NYS Police force.
The breeding just occurred sooner than I wanted it too. I bought the DDR dog specificly to breed to Duke. I knew it was going to produce fantastic drive pups, and I was right.
My Bullinger boy has got to be one of the best dogs I have ever owned. I just love him.

This is my Bullinger boy,aka "Duke", in the middle. What a dog !Very athletic, extremely protective, and 100% perfection as far as temperment. he is one of my 3 year old grand daughters biggest fans. I LOVE THIS DOG!!!!(I actually love all my dogs, but Duke is my favorite).

Oh ok, just asking. I would think an accidental litter is also doing a disservice to Tracey and Kevin.

by triodegirl on 14 January 2012 - 07:01

Joni, I've always loved your dogs, especially Duke. He's a beautiful boy. Best of luck with those pups!

Thanks triodgirl,i do love my dogs!
autobahn-I don't think I have done any disservice to either-although early, I have some exceptional dogs, and I have discussed with Tracey what I do with the dog I got from her, If she don't have a problem with what I do with Duke, I don't know why anyone else would!
