Fly over yourself and actually see/put hands on the dog(s) you plan on buying. Bring the dog back as excess baggage.
Or, just give it a few minutes and you might get a private message from a Broker of fine Czech dogs here in America.
He and his partner have been breeding/selling dogs for many years

Granted, one can't and shouldn't paint all sellers from the countries in Eastern Europe with the same brush, BUT--I WOULD suggest, greatdogs, that you at least read this thread on the GSD forum here:
http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/forum.read?mnr=159628
...and then do a search here in the All Breed forum on each of these Eastern European countries, and read the many posts recounting how money is sent but the dog is never received, or the dog received isn't the dog that was purportedly being sold, or the dog's papers never materialize, etc., etc., etc.
While I recognize that flying over oneself and checking the dog out personally isn't always an option, I think I'd have to be DAMN sure to find SOMEONE I can trust to go and have look at the dog(s) I was interested in before I'd part with one red cent to purchase any dog from overseas sight unseen. Not an indictment of the kennel being asked about, nor of Eastern European kennels in general...as with all things, it only takes one to ruin things for everyone else.
