Female after litter - Page 1

Hope you guys can help. I have a Malinois female who has hanging tits after her litter. She did have false pregnancy few months ago. She was on GALASTOP from vets but now after 10 months her tits are up und down all the time.
I'm exercising her every day she has 30 min run after the ball and after that she is walking for an hour. I have cut her food a little bit. But everything i have tried is not working. I have even tried rubbing vinegar on her tits, as show people do in England :) Nothing works Please Help

Seriously, I would get the vet to check hormone levels. Sometimes a corpus luteum persists after pregnancy, and can prevent the hormone levels from returning to normal. It will also prevent her from coming into heat again.

Disclaimer: I got this tidbit of info from a dairy farmer in my family. Whether it can apply to bitches, too, I'm not sure.

Great Thank you for your tip I will take her to vets see what they say. Last time they told me they can't do a lot... hopefuly this time they can help her.

So I went to vets today and they told me they will have to give me GALASTOP one more time if she will continiue having big tits then they will do tests. I told them That's 4th time this year you are giving me GALASTOP cant you just do the tests ???

It is probably because you bred your bitch for the second time at about 19 months that it's teeths are now hanging down, this is just one of the cosmetic side effects, and I wouldn't worry about it (as much as the others).

They will hang more after your next breeding of her.
