This is Jiff, a 5 pound pomeranian who is only about a year and a half old. He's been working me for about 10 months, and had on-lead obedience with a fellow trainer prior. Make all the tiny dog jokes you want, but his owners did not want him to have the stigma of a yappy, snotty, ill-mannered sterotypical small dog. They work religiously with him. This video is just so damn cute I had to share it. If you enjoy it, please share the link. Unlike so many youtube sensations that are a cute fluke, this is the result of dedication and I'd love to see Jiffy go viral!

This is adorable!  If only all small dog owners felt the same way this owner does.  I have garage sales in the summer and I cant tell you how many times people have come with small dogs, let them loose in my yard, let them go right up to the fence where my german shepherd is looking at them like they are a juicy steak, (oh, dont worry, little yap yap is friendly!) and then let them poo/pee all over my lawn without even batting an eyelash.

I have to add, he does NOT get carried around in that bag. They want to take him on vacations with them and want to ensure he will be a quiet traveler, respectful of the other passengers. Fancy that! Did I mention they also bring us delicious baked goods?

Love, love, loved that video!! And I am not really a fan of most small dogs, except for my niece's Yorkie Roxy. She has taught her a bunch of tricks mostly and has done it all herself. Roxy is now two and Janel is now 14 and I have to say she's done a good job with her, she is a sweet dog that is not obnixious in any way :) They are very cute together. Here's a clip I took of her doing all her tricks for my niece http://www.youtube.com/user/WCGermanShepherds#p/u/3/fEhALtOtkr8   Enjoy!

Yay for the trained little obedient dogs!!! I know they've got it in them, it's just pulling it out of the owners LOL!!

That was adorable. Cute but small dog, lol. I loved the cuddle up!

(The only thing I didn't like were the subtitles, they were smack dab in the middle and were annoying.)

The only thing I didn't like is that I never get to see the owner...she looks like she's dressed kinda hot!

LOL, those were nice boots!

She's a very pretty girl, Keith, sweet and could be, and I think married. ;)

One of my favorite things about this dog is you rarely, as a big dog owner, get to proof your dog around small dogs without worrying that the litte dog is going to act like an idiot and get itself eaten. This little guy comes to an advanced class full of GSDs, dobes, pits, and other big dgos, and it's so nice to have a small dog as an extra distraction!

I came very close to making a deposit on a long haired chihuahua about a month ago. I trained this brilliant, confident, drivey little chi and found out the breeder repeated the litter. Price was incredibly fair, I just don't have the time to train and potty break a small dog right now. Myabe next year... :)
