I do a lot of rescue and one of our specialties is pregnant shelter dogs. 16 days ago I pulled a very pregnant Chihuahua from a local shelter,it appeared she was due any day. Well - - - 16 days later she just finished giving birth to 7 puppies. It is a huge litter for a little 7 pound dog! I will post some pics when things are a touch calmer.

WOW 7 that is a big litter for such a small dog. Hope she and the pups are ok :) Best of luck with little monsters xxxxx

I can just imagine what she looks like, lol. I once had a Manchester Toy Terrier (not a breed I have anymore) who had 9 puppies. Before they were born she looked like a potbelly pig's torso on toothpicks.
