Is there anything like a pet or a dog Nutritionist? I would like to know if there is any North American University giving courses and training on this subject?

Wrong!! Only if you live in my household. I have lived in the same 25 mile radius, have never had HW and do not use HW prophylaxis,

You can get info also from Dog food companys, they usualy have Vets that test foods on lots of dogs before its marketed. Not saying its good, but it can show you the bad in the dog food industry.

California is not free from Heartworm danger.
When all the rescue dogs from Katrina and later from Texas and then several other southwest states, arrived in Marin County they brought in a Mega Heartworm infestation. They infected local mosquitos who fly around the state. People from all over the state came to get Katrina dogs.
Don't take risks with your dogs. I know of several who did not survive the treatment. Very, very, sad.
As a CPA and member of professional organizations, I recommend feeding raw.
