Just curious what people think.

Can you be more specific?
Like, do you mean corrections from the mods?

Are people handler aggressive? Do they "come up the leash" more than their dogs? Are our dogs unforgiving?
I see dogs get over things and their humans can't. If a handler or trainer makes mistakes does the dog hold grudges or does he forgive knowing his human is well just a human?

Frankly, I would think someone would have to OWN you for this to be a sensible analogy. Nobody owns me, no matter what they may think.

So, when corrected at work, you tell them that?
by VomMarischal on 13 October 2011 - 15:10
My boss never thought I might bite him, duh. Never occurred to me, either.

Really.
Everyone be good to each other.
Everyone be good to each other.

What's the matter, GSD mod? You been getting corrections? did you go up the leash at someone because you are a fear biter with weak nerve?

by GSD Admin on 13 October 2011 - 15:10
Nope not at all. It just seems my dog is more likely to forgive a mistake than people. That is all.

Of course dogs take correction better than people--dogs haven't got an ego that gets in the way of learning from the correction. Most people, OTOH, have but a limited number of other people from whom they'll accept criticism or correction without any resentment.
