What is the difference between a Czech GSD or a German GSD, which dog will make a better Family protector dog.

generally speaking a czech gsd as they have more defence , but todays czech GSD are for a big part bred in czech , but german dogs in pedigree , so no different than german dogs

offcourse there are exeptions on both ends

I don't think it matters as long as the dog can protect & interact with the family if buying an adult. If buying a puppy be sure to buy a puppy from parents that are strong in real protection.

A good breeder *should* be able to tell you whether they have what you are looking for or not.

NOTHING....they are both German Shepherds...period. Just another advertising fad....and people buy into it.

mixs of the best on both ends are best ? arent tinkerhook and leefdaalhof belgium blood just as good as good zcech blood when it comes to protection? they had good serious side also being good in sport but could do the real deal when they wanted to? while a lot of prey monsters and stuff with poor real protection is out there from what i have read from other posts other owners and experiences
