I have a bitch who was mated 36 hours after her levels were 48nml.  Lab reckoned this mating was a full 4 days after ovulation.  What do you think her chances of having taken are?  Have any of you had a bitch take when mated 4 (or even 5) days after ovulation?

Touch & go, probably too late, Good Luck.

Thanks, I think we've missed her too.  I have heard of one litter of 4 born to a day 4 post ovulation mating but do know that the odds are probably very slim.  Anyone else have anything to add?

A lady here female's prog test was 112 and she had 1 mating and 13 puppies.

Blimey, theoretically that should be way too late!  Apparently anything over 90 is too late.  I suppose I will just have to wait and see.

I know progesterone testing is necessary in some cases, shipped semen, frozen semen, etc. I guess I am fortunate, my male never lets me down, he knows when to "hit" and so far I have larger litters than I really want.  I have only allowed one or two ties and I am getting 9  or 10 pups.
