Now that I decided to try to add a Champion Title AkC to my German Showline. Does anyone know
what Judges should I show under?

Very few people on the database show AKC, so that's likely why you haven't had a reply yet. However, I am guessing Dan Smith, who owned VA2, Ch. Jim vom Fiemereck, Sch3 might be a good bet!

BTW, that is a pretty lousy picture of Jim! There are much better ones on Dan's website.

OK I am going to chime in here with what little I know. I was at a specialty back in May and the judge put up a nice SL bitch--his name was Rick Orlowski.  As far as big name judges, I do kn ow that Carmen Battaglia put up Neuman's Jim for a major and he was a DDR dog. Another is Helen Gleason--I never heard of her putting up a SL dog but she bred her American bitch to one so I'd say she likes them.  I also know a judge, who judges for both AKC and UKC, Danny Bussard, put up a SL at the spring UKC shows. Honestly I am not 100% sure whether its the big difference, I think it up to the dog and what dog they like on what day.JMO.

This is very hard to do. You must have a known prof handler. Your best chance is in the allbreed ring, not at the specialty shows. I wanted to do this for years but as I said hard to dog.

Helen Gleason, yes Carmen, Frank Tate, Fred Lanting, Morton Goldfarb, maybe Fred Migliore, not sure if they are still judging.

Lot's of travel as you will be wasting your time if you don't have the right judge and you have to have a good moving WELL TRAINED dog that shows well and has alot of crowd support.

Good luck.

GSD the rest you mentioned except Fred Lanting. Never did know the exact deal but the AKC and GSDCA kicked him to the curb..............

December 10th: GSDC of Northern VA  Specialty will be held at the KOA campground in VA Beach. Judge- Morton Goldfarb.
December 11th: GSDC of Eastern VA Specialty will be held at the same venue. Judge - Helen Gleason

Both of these judges own and breed German and American lines.

Fred was very critical of what was happening with the American show lines, so they were looking for an excuse to get rid of him. He posted a note at a show, asking someone he knew was looking for a dog to get in touch with him, as he'd hear of one that he thought was a good match.

They accused him of trafficking in dogs, which is a no-no for an AKC judge.

He still judges UKC shows and also IACB shows (International All Breed Canine Assoc.)

Sunsilver, I heard something else and wondered if you knew anything about it. I heard he was at a speciality and promoting his book--this was the first one he wrote with the brown cover--and anyway there is I think a whole chapter dedicated to the whites and they threw a fit about that. So I don't know if that was the beginning of the end or what.
Also he makes those trips to the Sieger show every year and takes a group. I've heard they have a really nice time and see lots of stuff--not just dogs-but also visit different kennels.

You guys are right. I remember something about him getting booted. Don't remember any reasons. I remember he judged a GSDCA Nat'l back in the 90's maybe? Put up as winner for open dog i think Kimbo vom Bisshoffimshien (sp is wrong). People were pissed. He ended up putting up I think the Am bred dog as winner's dog though.
