I am wondering what people think of this food. I have been on it for about 6 months and two of my shepherds are scratching and loosing hair. This has never happened to me before. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this with the food.??

Each dog is different.  The only true test is to take them off of it to see if their condition improves. It sounds like an allergy.  In which, it could be from something in that particular food. Will you ever know? Most likely not. But....
If you take them off of it and they do not show improvement, you know it is not that.  Make sure you've ruled out fleas and any other skin condition, like mites, mange, etc. It is kind of rare for two dogs to have the same food allergy from the same house hold, but anything is possible. Only make one change at a time. For example, maybe you bought a new glade plug in.  Leave that in.  If you take them off the food and the condition stays the same, then you know it is not the food.  Put them back on the food, and unplug the Glade plug in.
It becomes a process of elimination.
You may get so many different opinions on the food. Like I said, all dogs are different. Take food quality opinions lightly.  For example, my GSD did great on TOTW for about 2 years. Then all of a sudden, he didn't.  I'd never down the food, it just didn't work for him after a while. It is good to change dog food (protein source) after a year or so anyway. This prevents food allergies.
Keep us posted and good luck.

When mine where on it they lost weight and had a dry, dull coat and lost hair.
I switched to Acana grain free and they have beautiful soft shiny coats and are the appropriate weight.  So I did not like TOTW.

Not every Dog Food works the same on every dog...And Not every dog likes all foods...If your dog seems to scratch too much or you think might have allergies...There are vets that are Homeopathic and can do Blood Panels that will tell you exactly what your dog should and should not eat...
The Blood Panels are not cheap...our vet charges around $300.00

That is why process of elimination is much cheaper.  But if you've tried every possible process of elimination and still are unable to relieve your dog's skin issues, I would try an allergist.

Two of my Huskies are on TOTW, Sierra formula. Stools are good, coats are shiny and very soft.  Did it do that for my other two when they were on it....not as much.  One of my dogs itches a lot, but it's typically when the grass is cut which makes me think it's the grass he's allergic to, and not the food in his case since he never really had any itching problems when the grass is dead.   Which formula of TOTW are you feeding? You may just want to try another food.  I have heard of others who couldn't keep weight on their dogs with this food.

I use it on my adult dog's, and their coats are beautiful,  with no itchy/dry skin or hair loss,no weight loss.I use the wetland and the pairie.I've had NO problems with mine on it at all ,and they love it.

For my pups I use Innova, because the Taste of the Wild food is far to rich for them,as is the Evo.

My vet does the food allergy blood panel for about $100...its been very accurate and has really helped alleviate one of my dogs itching problems.

Thanks for all the advice. My female is 7 she has always had a beautiful, shinny coat. It has turned dry and notice her biting her self like it is allergies. I use the salmon but have tried the others. I have to watch how much I feed her because she will gain very easily on the food. I had her on Eagle for years and she did great but can not get it anymore.

I live at 7,400 ft and we are already getting frost. We do not have fleas here because we only have 30 frost free days  where I live in Wyoming. I am really thinking it is something in the food..
I was very excited about this food because of no grain, soy , wheat etc..but she is not getting along with it..
