We have a stud male 5 years old, when he tries to COVER THE FEMALE and has been thrusting for some time he hops off, makes urine still thrusting his body, this he will do four or five times so he does not cover the female, his last stud was one year ago. We have had many test done on him and all is OK
todate he has not covered one female all seven of them, WHY WHY he just does not get close to couple??

He is not urinating he is ejaculating, he must be slipping out, sometimes the two dogs need to be held together until tied.

next time you want to use him for a stud, take him and the female to a reproduction specialist and see if they can find a reason. maybe he was injured previously?

Brittany, we don't know anything about this breeder except that English isn't his first language, so don't jump to conclusions yet.

Red Sable, I'm not criticizing this person's lack of english skills. I am simply pointing out the ignorance. And yes theirs still many irresponsible breeders out there, and unfortunetly the dogs have to suffer in the process. If you don't know the difference between ??? and urine then you shouldn't be breeding. Leave the breeding to those who actually know what they're doing.

If it is urine, then the dog may have prostate cancer which has already done some considerable damage.
