A sixth reprieve for the walking piece of trash, Kimberly Nizato. These are our "animal protection" laws in action. Makes me sick to my stomach.

Think of it as the slow drip of the Chinese water torture.
On the other hand, Courage seems to have recovered and is living a lovely life with his best friends.
I look at Pharaoh and try to imagine him with the same frame weighing 37 pounds.

I think she should have to suffer of what being starved feels like. She should drink her own pee and eat her own shit to survive. She should feel exactly what this poor dog had to dealth with before being rescued.

This is what the jurors will see when/if this case finally gets heard. :(
I think she should have been tried swiftly and right after it happpened with Courage in the courtroom for the jurors/judge to see the horrid condition he was in....I hope justice will be served, but I really don't think the sentence given to Nizato will be enough that she will feel the pain she caused that poor boy. What a horrible human being.

Calif. woman pleads no contest to animal cruelty

NORWALK, Calif.—A Southern California woman has pleaded no contest to nearly starving her dog to death last year.
The Los Angeles County district attorney's office says Kimberly Nizato entered her plea Monday to one felony count of animal cruelty.
Nizato was charged after her severely emaciated German Shepard was rescued from her Bellflower home in April 2010. The veterinarian who examined the dog determined there was no evidence of food in his system, but hair, dirt and rocks were found in his stomach.
Nizato worked as a kennel attendant at an Irvine veterinary clinic at the time of her arrest.
Authorities say the dog, who was later adopted, is now in good health.
Prosecutors say Nizato faces up to three years in state prison when she is sentenced on July 28.

I hope she gets three years in state prison. This POS should be banned permanently from owning any pets. Not even a gerbil or a mouse.
