I have a 4.5 year old female GSD.  She is on raw, I take her walking/running/swimming for about an hour in the morning before I go to work.  She isnt crated while I am away, I live close by and come home for lunch and am only gone for like 8 hours a days tops (with a half hour break for lunch when I come home).  She has these two spots on her back legs, just above her feet that at first I thought were scraped by rocks when she swims, but its been about six weeks and they havent healed.

About 2 months ago she had to go to the vet, she ended up with pretty bad allergies.  No itching, just a TON of reverse sneezing, regular sneezing, and a runny nose.  She has never had allergies in the past and with the meds she gave me it cleared up in a couple days.  She was just spayed last week and one of her ovaries was very abnormal and they wanted to have it tested for cancer, the results are not back yet.  When she went to be spayed I asked the vet about the spots and she thinks they are lick granlomas.  I really like my vet and totally trust her, but I just never ever have seen her lick her legs.  Can they still have lick granulomas or is there anything else it could be?  Do her allergies/odd ovary have any bearing on this?

Thanks so much for any input!!!  Have a great day :)

What kind of spots are we talking about ? Raw open wounds ? Hairless spots ? Bumpy round spots ? Is it possible to get her still and get a picture of them? Recently someone I know put there dog down for bone cancer, the dog had wounds on its side that never healed, and the vet called them hot spots. The dog also had weird bumpy spots on the legs.
