SO I WAS LOOKING AROUND FOR A NEW DOG TO BUY. I ALWAYS LOOK TO SEE IF ANY NEW BREEDERS MIGHT HAVE SOMETHING.
SO I FOUND SOME DECENT STOCK AND I GOT A REPLY THAT KIND OF TURNED ME OFF. BUT YET, I WANTED SOME FEEDBACK BECAUSE YOU KNOW MAYBE I LOOKED AT WRONG.
THE COMMENT WAS WHEN I ASKED IF THEY WERE GOING TO MAYBE IN THE NEAR FUTURE PUT SOME SCHUTZHUND TITLES ON THEM?, I GOT THE RESPONSE,-- WELL, I THINK THAT IS ACTUALLY DETERMENTAL TO THE BREED-----
.
NOT SURE HOW TO TAKE THAT. TO ME, IT WAS A BIG TURN OFF.
SO IS THAT SOMETHING THAT WOULD SIT WRONG WITH OTHERS?
SORRY BUT CAPS ARE SO MUCH EASIER TO READ ON HERE, NOT YELLING, JUST MAKING IT EASIER TO READ FOR ME AND OTHERS.
THANKS :)

If you think of Doberman, Rotti's or German Shepherds look for working kennels or working lines in the pedigree instead of show lines. Some of the U.S. show line breeders have no idea about Schutzhund.

i would be looking to buy from SCh parents and KKL parents, i know i would keep looking after hearing that...

I'd have much more respect for the breeder in question if they'd responded by saying they preferred to work with their dogs in XX venue (obedience, agility, flyball...SOMETHING!)--at least they'd acknowledge that some sort of work ought to be done to assess breeding stock.  To simply reply that SchH is 'determental [sic] to the breed' SCREAMS that these people have no business breeding GSDs of any stripe.  Run, do not walk, as far away from this breeder as fast you can--no good can come of this.

Maybe these breeders are SL and have no idea about Sch, so that means everything hexe said.

Look for health certifications and good breeding ethics.  Your are obviously looking in the wrong place.  Best of luck  Nan

Possibly I can help,  what area would your prefer and do you want to see your new puppy/dog prior to buying?  Are you able to travel to see this dog or do you have to depend on the breeder to pick your puppy for you?  N
