There is this new indoor facility in Bohemia new York that I think is worth the rave.
They work with all dogs all breeds and train for all sports but they really specialize in personal and executive protection.
They train these dogs to do muzzle work, bite work with no equipment orientations tactical suits hidden sleeves. Then when you put these high power dogs in an off command they are totally approachable I have never seen anything like it ..
They use all simulations lights off, horns blowing fans fog machines different type of floors to make sure these dogs are sure of all surfaces and surroundings.
I have watched them take a Mali puppy biting the owners knuckles and jumping and nipping to a happy go lucky fun loving protection dog. It is six months and does a very nice building search bark and hold transport and super fast obedience.
I would say if you are into training this is defiantly a place to check out if you are in or around Bohemia new York.

Tactical leash handling class last week end was awesome. The methods and soft hands techniques really work. all the dogs are coming around nicely. Thank you guys for your patience with us. Can't wait for this weekends class on search and tracking.

Perhaps all your threads belong on the advertisment section not the forums?

protection dog training new york.
has anyone ever heard of z tracking or scanning for like open field searches...
this was he coolest thing i have seen...
Our trainer through one single key in the middle of a field then took his dog out of the car and gave him the search command..
the dog worked the field groung=d and air scent in a pattern like a letter z and found the key... it was awesome...

You mean an area search in a clean field where the only scent of the handler available is the key in the clean grass where the dog uses a sweeping, alternate side search while it cones the scent down to an exact position? Never heard of it.

Now that was funny, duderino.

Reeeeeeal cute.
@Duderino
I think we should encourage people interested in there dogs and dog activities instead of bashing them or making fun of them
Anyway it was a picnic ground field with all picnic tables. No trees or anything but there were people playing soccer and flying kites and stuff. So I wouldn't say its the only thing going on especially with food and kids running.
Either way if was super cooooooll
Especially that I am new at all this dog training and German.shepherds.
I have trained dogs in the past obedience rescue dogs. But nothing like this.

If you trained rescue dogs and never saw an area search, who were you rescuing, someone yelling to you from behind a small tree with a tennis ball?
Not bashing anyone but from all of your posts on this subject it's kinda like watching another Geico ad with no available remote.
