as always a huge fan of Obi.....

His coat is amazing...looks like he came straight from a groomer who blow dried his coat up towards his head and worked really hard on his tail...LOL..

but seriously, his colors and his coat is amazing...he was drop dead gorgeous as a puppy and looks like he has not lost his charm as young adult....

I agree about his coloring and I have become a huge showline sable admirer. I can not stop looking at the one I have here in different lights it is awesome to watch the colors.

He looks awesome, sorry. I should not have first responded while with migraine. I spent all day going over important papers yesterday and eye strain with the computer along with stress on closeing the farm and selling off our va beach home that right now I have a little less migraine than what I woke with but still not good to look at things.

I am happy to see them with sheep and will have my youngest on sheep in august. I love herding with these dogs so much, and they do to.

I see his dad in his topline, chest, coloring, and facial expression. The way you described his personality and his behaviors are dead on for his dad lol Good luck!!!

Thanks Deanna, Dawn, LadyFrost and Yvonne!
Obi's turning out better than I could have ever expected.

I wish I had the foresight to take a video to share.  The last two pictures only tell half of the story.
Obi was so irritated that Shannon, woman in the pic, wouldn't let him chase sheep anymore.  His tail was swishing, he tried to go around her, he backed up when she came forward to pick up the lead, tried to intimidate her by moving in and barking at her...I finally had to go in a get him because he was determined to get those sheep.

Yvonne...I hope you feel better!  Buying/selling property can be extremely stressful.  I hope everything goes well.

LadyFrost...that coat is impossible (pic was taken Sunday afternoon)...can you believe Friday night 1) I wet down his coat, 2) blowdried and brushed it out, 3) sprayed on two types of leav-in conditioners, 4) brushed the coat for 2 whole hours, 5) used an extra strength mousse.  Repeated steps 3-5 at 5am Saturday morning to try to get it to lay down for a show.  And 5 mins after I was done, his coat looked like I had never touched it!

Obi's next method of torture is agility.  Look for pics early July.cool
