That is amazing, and a great testament to the bond between man and his best friend. My cousin JUST rescued a workingline shepherd from somone in our club who could not keep him, had him for only one night the next day they went on a walk and as they got back home 2 pitt bulls walking by got free from their owner and by this point my cousin's dog Rusak was already in the house my cousin froze in fear and right as the pitts were about to bite him out cam Rusak guns a blazing and protected, defended and when it was clear the pitt was no longer a threat he quickly stopped his attack returning to my cousins side barking to ward them off. Such a testament I love, love stories like this.

Great story, but did anyone catch where they said he was 180 lbs, not a chance, more like 80, it just bugs because only distorts it for others who then call around searching for a 180 guardian for their family!! Otherwise amazing story and a great 80lb dog. I would have thought it was a typo except for their enthusiasm at the weight of the dog. Maybe someone needs to start a mobile vet scale calibration service
