Verrsie

Has anyone heard anything good or bad regarding this company: http://petairways.com/

They only fly pets and the pets are flown in cabin with their own flight attendents.  The only downside I see is that they only fly with a few airports and that their flights are limited to certain times.

I'm hoping someone has either used them before or knows of someone who has in the past.

Thanks!!

I have used them several times and had very good luck with them. Flights coming from Frankfurt to Seattle.

Did you use PetAirways or PetAir? There seems to be two different companies.  PetAirways appears to only fly within the US and to a few cities.

That's ok, they're both so similar.  Thanks though!

A co-worker of mine has flown a few dogs with PetAirways.  Said they were super easy to deal with and recommends them to everybody.

That,s how Brix vom Eisenherz made his way to NJ. It was great. Certainly would not hesitate to fly with them again.

I flew a pup from Baltimore to Denver with them last summer. Was a great experience and very comfortable for the pup. He got lots of attention from the "attendants" and he spent no time alone in a crate on the tarmac or in a warehouse.

Absolutely great. I'm the one who shipped the above-mentioned Brix vom Eisenherz, and I have never been so relaxed and confident that a pup was in good hands as I was with them. He was NOT an easy puppy and I had some concerns but the attendants were very knowlegeable- more so than any vet tech I've yet to experience- about how to handle such a "special" boy, lol, even though he spent a good part of the night there before leaving the next morning, I was totally calm and not my usual frantic self when I leave a pup at the airport. They called me to say he was fine, and they called the owner as well. Great communication all around and wonderful handling, on the Chicago side at least.
