I was wondering if anyone could answer this question, here its goes,
Suppose if a female is mated to two different sire on alternative days, can she be pregnant with both of the males. I have seen a female been mated twice to two different studs this way and after looking at her litter I noticed quite variation in the pups. So could it be that she had some pups from first mating and rest from second mating? is it possible to have her eggs fertilized by two different dogs... what do you say? I know its not legal but just a technical question....

If I were a bitch (I mean a female dog), I'd want dual sired litters every time. The people get their pups out of both studs, and I only have to go through one pregnancy!

Unless the first rush of sperms get all the viable eggs, a litter can have different sires.

It is not possible to register the pups from such a litter in many other countries, I believe.
