My cat hangs out with the dog in his kennel and I have caught them sleeping together in the sun out back a few times. Baden still chases him if he runs, but if the cat just stands there, he will bat him lightly with a paw to get him to play or just nudge him with his nose and go back to doing his own thing.
I caught this the other evening while we were bbqing.

My Black and white kitty (Rio) loves dogs. Cisco puppy can't quite figure how to play with him.........Rio (kitty) runs under Cisco's chin....Cisco chases Rio......Rio stops to bat at Cisco or give him the "Kitty Hug".......Cisco barks at Rio......and the whole process starts over again.
Awww........Pack.......what a sweet picture. BTW........a Big Congrats on your news

Here is our Wolf von der Haus Maul, a DDR/Czech intact male, (he lives with my step-daughter Yvonne), & his favorite nap-time friend Caruso, her blue point Siamese. My girl Kali likes cats, too.....for dinner!

@LadyFrost- I love how Oscar's entire head goes in Bailey's mouth! Oscar might have left but I'm sure that she'll get even with Bailey later (cats always, always win the war).

One of my GSDs always gop after cats.
One day her really got close to one, but at the end she wagged her tail and played with the cat.
