I would like to buy my first plastic kennel and noticed there is a big price difference (like double the price) between a 40" xlarge and a 48"giant.
I like the 48" wire crates at home, but am looking for something for the car. Can I get away with a 40" or do I need the 48"?

I my old Ford Exploder, I fit 2 wire crates side by side........ they're 42x21x30 and for driving around its so much easier just to keep them in instead of having to constantly load and unload all the time. My back thanks me! I could put 3 of them in and still have a bit of room for equipment, lawn chair and still have the passenger seat free.

Wouldn't want to use them as all day containment, but to go to training, shows or trials they work fine.

I have a pet furrari that I love for it's ease of breaking down, not all the screws to undue when I need to clean it or store it.
