Some say 8 weeks after season; some say it does not matter, some say not to do it al all. What are your thoughts on a bitch that will not be bred? But a working girl. Thx in advance for your thoughts, Nan

Personally, I would wait until she is fully matured ~ around 24 months of age.

Thx I will do my reading; and I do not see any reason to neuter males unless a health issue; but do you feel the same about bitches? It is major surgery; very concerning and the outcome?? Scarey. Maybe I am answering my own questions and concerns. Thx Nan
