On April 17th a young 14 year old boy was swept away in broad river, near the greenway in Boiling Springs N.C. He has yet to be located. His family is desperate for closure and need help. The main search has been called off, but volunteers are still searching daily. They are asking for any help, and specifically for trained search dogs.

A dogs nose could be the answer!

A pup from my first litter is certified in this (water/cadaver). I will forward this, though that would be quite a trip for them.

I'm not surprised that there's a shortage of available SAR dogs in that area.  I don't know what's going on those states (NC & SC) but I personally know of 4 active large searches currently going on and I've received a request for assistance (I'm on the CUE national alert system) almost every week for the past month to come to that area; each for a different case.

I really wish I could help more but the dogs aren't ready(pup's just started and adult just added water HRD) and my are's been needing me here as well (NW Florida) :(
