I boarded my girl with friends for a week last December.
She snapped her collar in half when the friends brought her to meet me the day I came home, trying to get to me.
I hate to imagine what she'd do if I left her for the 12 months a deployment typically entails.
It's nice to see these dogs reunited with their people.

Alboe2009, that's good stuff! When we were stationed in TX this trainer with a boarding facility kept a couple single soldiers dogs for the cost of food, really nice lady. Mudwick your girl must really love you, sweet story. She's beautiful, I liked your down video on the other topic. Jennifer

clee27, It's just nice to see "goodness" in such in a simple form. And the irony? How can there be individuals who don't like dogs???
Scarlet, I hear you too. What's icing on the cake? A bonus is when you experience the same from your own dogs! A couple of weeks ago I was in Pa. for 4 days. The adults can "hear" the vehicle coming down the farm road, the pup, Bella is crated upstairs. As soon as I entered the house and everyone heard my voice all hell broke loose. Bella was pretty much ALL those beagles voices. She comes running down the stairs full speed across the kitchen floor and JUMPS @ 3, 3 1/2 ft. into the air into my arms! 4 days. Makes you all warm and fuzzy!
