its me or the dog show - Page 1

Has anyone seen ITS ME OR THE DOG EPISODE with a young man named Mike and he has a Cane Corso.

I watched it, why do you ask?

Have you ever heard of anyone refusing to train a dog if it wasn't fixed.  I think that she just didn't agree with him breeding the dog which I agree with to.  He doesn't know what he is doing but it seemed as if they manipulated him to do so.

Personally I haven't heard of anyone doing that.  The dog seemed to be doing well after they started the training, before being neutered.  The guy seemed slightly on the ego trip side of things regarding that though.  And the big chain around the neck, and the chain attached to walk him......just the whole image screams ego. It's just funny to see Victoria come over to New York with the culture being so much different compared to where she is from.

Havent seen it- was it Victoria who demanded the dog be neutered? Personally, seeing her get her @ss handed to her by an intact male Corso would be real entertainment.

She was beyond demanding with it.  She was bashing this guy all over the place.  It was pretty obvious that the dog needed some serious training.  Who knows if it would be good at protection work.  They did not really show the dog getting evaluated. 

Her big issue was that the guy was only like 20yo or something like that and she said that the breeder that sold him the dog was irresponsible for doing so.  The dog was very well taken care of but was a bit much for the guy and he just needed help. He expressed several times that he wanted to breed the dog some day.  She told him that he would be adding to the problem.  The kid was obviously not ready to breed but he seemed to have a natural talent to work his dog.

At the end of the day the poor dog lost his nuts.

I JUST HATE IT WHEN I LOSE MY NUTS!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
