So I went to go add the pedigree info for my 7 week old puppies, and someone has deleted their sire from the database.
V Bandit v Wolfsheim, KK1a, SchH3, FH
He's nowhere to be found. His brother, Bomber, is still there. But the Bandit puppies that I had entered are gone. What an @$$hole move.
Wow... checking the pedigree modifications page, one person went on a rampage: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/latest.pedigreechange

My Arko is deleted too! Appears to be any of Molly's dogs, or dogs whom she bred aka my Arko!

amanda, there were hundreds of dogs deleted - many of mine, and many of others too. I think Oli and the moderators will take care of things.

Please forgive my ignorance, but how can someone so easily do this? Can anyone go in and change the info on any dog's pedigree or delete it? Isn't there some sort of security set up so that only the owner of the dog can gain access to change the info? I am just curious. I can only imagine how upsetting this must be.

It's the asshole who has been harassing me. He doesn't like Molly either. ALL my dogs are gone as well as ALL of the dogs I have bred, as well as even one I CO-OWN.
This is extremely infuriating; can they somehow be retrieved? Do we really lose all that PLUS all the comments users have left over the years????
This guy must have serious issues...I can guess what they're related to, but it's not my fault and it's not Molly's. This freak is soooo pathetically sad. I'm sure he's tall, dark, and handsome with a giant penis.

go to the pedigree modifications Jenni and you will see the many many more dogs he/she deleted - doesn't look like he targeted you and I (at least not only) there were many many dogs deleted from other breeders as well.
I hope everything can be restored. according to the moderator I spoke with, it can be, just might take a little bit of time to do it.
apparently this person has been banned and "stopped" before but comes back.
IMO the next step is to make it impossible for anyone except Oli or moderators to delete any dog for any reason. Don't I remember correctly that a while ago there was a report button for duplicate pedigrees? Pedigrees don't need to be deleted for any other reason, by anyone.
