do dogs act any stranger while they are in heat or before they go in heat? also is more peeing and blood in urine common?

Blood in urine is not common...are you sure it's blood in urine and not just blood from vagina being washed INTO urine?

i was in petsmart and she went pee i think she marked a spot that another dog went pee she pees a lot when we go on walks and there was pinkish blood in her urine
she did it again the second time there was no blood this time was in another spot where dog went pee she tried to pee over the other dogs pee

If the blood is IN her urine, then it's likely a UTI or other kidney issue and she is urinating more frequently because of that. UTI or other infection/kidney issue needs to be seen by a vet, ASAP. However, what you're describing could just be normal heat and she's keeping herself clean enough that you're not seeing blood everywhere but small amounts are showing up in puddles of urine...hard to avoid that w/proximity.
Is she in heat? Hard to tell online; you're a better judge of that than I ;-) Is this her first heat and that's why you don't know? How old is she? How else is she "acting strangely"?

hey i just asked her to lay on her side i saw some blood in her vulva so does this mean heat for sure then? no uti or other stuff? never seen a dog in heat before.
i tried to clean up the blood with a wet kleenex but she groaned so i stopped
outside of our home she will still urinate a lot while on walks not so much on our own property or in the home but like most of your dogs she is dominant. She is even dominant over intact bigger males so dont have to worry toomuch about her getting preg lol The older bigger intact males that met her were afraid of her cause she was such a bitch!

she is normally aloof but she is doing dirty things well trying to she wants to stick her face in peoples crotches and sniffing like insane she doesnt care to get pet she just wants to give them a sniff over.
If the person wants her to approach them I let her and she will keep sniffing until shes done and then leaves. Even if they are not done petting or talking to her she will simply just walk away when her sniffing is over. It is like shes trying to find something from them. Cant be treats cause i dont let people give her treats.

Sounds like heat.
She will not be a bitch when she's ready to be bred, so if you think her attitude alone will prevent pregnancy, you're sorely mistaken.

Is she licking her vajay jay a lot, and is it swollen? That is a sure sign of heat. My female is dominant and always urinates over other dogs urine, but when she is in heat there is also a lot of licking going on, and swelling. :)

it seems swollen and a bit of blood comming from it how long will this last i hope it is over soon lol
okay no contact with intact males hell no contact with dogs period its not safe anyways unless the dogs are super submissive to her
also no more offleash walks in the woods? we have a ton of coyotes around us is there a chance she might run off with one? Ive seen coyotes take interest in other gsd's in heat before. Omg imagine the offspring what a nightmare lol
red sable does blood show up in yours pee also? will she pee in petsmart?
